power struggle: REMITTANCES album sampler

the homie NOMI has been working hard on a new album called REMITTANCES droppin’ in december, but has put together this album sampler to give us a taste of what’s to come!

nomi is definitely one of my favorite hip hop artists, always puttin’ out music with sharp lyrics, hard slaps, and a refreshing sound. a working man to the core, his words speak to the every day hustler in all of us: the gangstas who wear bling heavier than his weight in gold, to the street sweetheart trying to provide for her family in a system that she knows won’t help her. nomi knows your story intimately, and his music comes from that place.  he’s an organizer, a brother, a kasama, and an artist…and his music is definitely worth pickin’ up when it drops!
